People leaving "DICE" (BoB) for "ATUK" (The Five) just so that they have 2 chances at the next up and coming alliance championships ?
I personally think that "The Five" should not be allowed to enter the championships, they might be an in-game alliance, but it isn't an "ACTIVE" alliance at all. It's just a "ready to use" figure head alliance to double the odds, not what I would have expected from the mighty BoB at all.

I don't consider it an exploit, but I do hope that CCP will only consider *REAL* and *ACTIVE* alliances for the tournamnet.
BoB is very much alive and kicking, no problem with them taking part. The Five on the other hand only has 27 members (just checked in game) and can not realistically be considered an alliance and as such should not be allowed to enter.
Allowing this to happen would just be inviting every alliance in EVE to invest a "few" billion ISK to make "a few alliances" with "a few" PvP teams.
What next ?
Stain Empire revived (also 27) ?
Curse Alliance revived (currently 1) ?
Every man and their dog moving alts into dead alliances ?
CCP, it may be an alliance in game, but only by name. Not by nature.

I think CCP wants people to create alliances for other reasons, and none of them have anything to do with the tournament.

Stain- Alliance, The Five, Curse Alliance are all KNOWN dead entities, I'm sure that BoB can afford the 1 billion ISK to make a "few more", but do they HAVE to use a KNOWN dead entity for the alliance tournament ?
Pathetic, end of story. Same for any alliance that feels the desire for a 2nd team, it only shows that they don't believe in THEIR team and need more than one iron in the fire.

If there are active ppl in an alliance to accept applications, then what measure are you going to use to decide if it's active? Player power to decide recruitment policies?
When was the last time the "The Five" accepted an alliance application ?

Since thier is ATUK in LV who have chars in ATUK does that mean LV is useing ATUK for a 2nd team ???? Prob not
anyone who has any clue about ATUK would know it never 100 percent shut down nor has it ever gave up the allince and why should it as it was the excutor (sp) , its full of old school members who play when they have time yes membership in atuk goes up and down it always has since script retired yes it isnt active on the war front dont mean its not thier or wont surface one day.
Oh wait, I guess I am stupid:
After a three year rollercoaster ride through eve ATUK will be closing its doors after this weekend., as script said, closed and the reason for DICE being even formed.
So how about YOU get a clue ....
